Intro
you’re here

Verse 1
it feels like the beginning
but something’s different
you can sense it

Pre-Chorus
everything’s in place
but not the same

Chorus
you’re still here
still where it holds
still inside it
still in control

Verse 2
you know this feeling
you’ve been here before
(or have you…)

Pre-Chorus
it loops again
it settles in

Chorus
you’re still here
still where it holds
still inside it
still in the loop

Bridge
nothing’s broken
nothing’s fixed
it just continues

Outro
you’re here

still here

Unresolved functions as a return point rather than an ending. Familiar phrases reappear, familiar conditions seem restored, and the signal initially resembles the stability established at the beginning of the node. Yet nothing feels entirely identical. The environment remains recognizable while carrying subtle evidence of everything that has already occurred.

The verses establish this tension immediately. The listener has returned to a known space, but certainty has been replaced by awareness. What once felt stable now feels observed. What once felt permanent now feels conditional. The system appears intact, though its meaning has changed.

Throughout the signal, repetition serves a different purpose than it did in earlier transmissions. Previous loops provided reassurance, containment, or control. Here, repetition becomes recognition. The listener recognizes the pattern but can no longer experience it without the context of what came before. Every familiar phrase carries traces of prior instability, fragmentation, and revelation.

The bridge offers the closest thing to a conclusion the node will provide. Nothing has been fully repaired. Nothing remains completely broken. The cycle continues without declaring resolution or failure. Stability and instability are allowed to coexist without either fully replacing the other.

The closing callback completes the structure by returning to the first condition the listener encountered. Yet the repeated phrase no longer functions as reassurance alone. It functions as recognition. Presence remains. The system remains. The loop remains.

Unresolved serves as the node’s final transmission by refusing finality. The signal concludes, but the pattern continues. The listener is left at the threshold between completion and recurrence, where both interpretations remain active simultaneously.
